I don't think I could ever remember the name/number of that NGK plug even though I'm sure it works just fine.

I have the same MSD igntion and .040" spark plug gap Mark uses and I'm using Bosch W4CS plugs. The box they come in also says racing spark plug on it fwiw. They have a thin silver center electrode that supposedly is long lasting and has a wide heat range.
Pelican sells them for around 6 or 7 bucks each and they work fine.

NGK and Bosch plugs are both good, and some people just run the generic $1.50 Bosch or NGK copper core plugs on the street with no problems, and your '89 would use the same plugs as any other 930.
