Thats true and there was never a tube chassis 935.

The very last ones made were getting closer to a prototype chassis with partial ground effects tunnels replacing parts of the floor pan.

Unfortunately the boxer six 935 motor being a low wide engine that is great for low center of gravity made it impossible to have big wide ground effects tunnels, while the competing V8 cars had alot of extra space for those tunnels on each side of the motor because the engine even in dry sump configuration wasn't nearly as wide down low.
