With the extensive amount of body work/engine work, could one simply buy a well-sorted stock 930 and go from there?

From the pictures here, the amount of $$$$ to make this a servicable Porsche again appears to be staggering.

Good luck!
haha, unfortunately the car was not given to me i had to pay for it!! these cars are very rare here in singapore and good condition ones even rarer. a good condition one would cost about US$100k if you could fine one, and even then you don't know just how good it si as no one keeps service history records. i paid US$30k for mine so i'm still well within budget for a rebuild cost of less than US$60k and i'll have a car that i know for sure is fully sorted.
