I would say 389 at the wheels was pretty serious out of these old sleds. I'm
older than dirt and find to much HP has a degree of diminishing return when it comes to drivability. I've tried to stick totally with bolt ons just to see what can be done. I replaced head studs after finding several broken so I changed to sc cams while I had it down. Other than that it's pretty much as was internally. I love the challenge of CIS and refuse to give up on it.

The WMI system is in but the engine isn't so I don't know how much of a performance enhancement it is going to be. I actually installed it for the detonation control not the performance. I researched it for quite a long time before I chose what system I wanted. I actually believe it's the cheapest and most effective detonation prevention there is. It amazes me that 930 freaks haven't been using it for years, especially on early non IC cars.

You should do a signature at the bottom of your posts so we have an idea of what you mods are, it helps when we are trying to help or when we are looking for information. I noticed you've been around a while, I don't think I've seen to many posts from you and from the sound of your exploits your probably a great resource of 930 grey matter. Good to see you here.
