I think a car that is generally considered more long-lasting, less disposable, more desirable will be easier to source parts for. I'm not saying your Mazda is a bad car. But getting used parts for an older Volvo or even my '88 VW would be easier, because people actually keep those cars on the road and fix them properly. I'll bet your typical owner of a 20+ y/o Mazda doesn't bother to replace the washer fluid reservoir when it leaks, or anything else for that matter. If you are committed to this car, maybe time to look for a spare to cannibalize.
