Everything has it's downside...

Today I mounted the bumper with tape to get an idea, if I should adapt or throw
away:

long time ago, when I rebuilt the car I decided to lower the engine to decrease the center of gravity and improve handling (theory for some).

However, no I have found a drawback: The RarlyL8 muffler does not fit behind the bumper (not Brian's fault of course), it touches the bumper at the lower inner edge, where the valance beginns...

There are several solutions in my mind for this:

-Cut-off the Valance similar to my old bumper

-Turning the muffler counterclockwise would gain a few mm's but still close (and dislocate the drillings of flange is not a nice job)

-Buy a new bumper. This would probably save the fitting problem too, but it have to be different in measurements: The bumper face side should be extended to the back

I am still unsure, which way to go. Does someone with a IROC bumper can measure his at this point and tell me the brand of his bumper?

Here are two of mine (view is deceptive, no gap when measured)
