The injectors unscrew at the fuel line union, then unscrew from the manifold. Correct.
The CSV is a pain to get at. If you could get the terminal plug off - not easy - it has a spring clip - same as on your WUR, you maybe could put a multi meter across the terminal to see if it has a circuit (on resistance). This will just tell you if it is capable of functioning, but wont tell you if it is leaking. About all you can do is pull it out. It has two allen screws - top and bottom.

The fuel pumps ahve non return valves (balls) - pretty sure. Are you sure it is not bleeding back?
