It's not just the power but how the power is achieved and used. Most race engines are over a race weekend inspected or over-hauled to some extent after races or a particular X amount of life hours not miles.

So think in life hours not milage. It also depends on how you drive. If you drive it like a hot and bothered teen no, not long. Depends on the usage. 500 vs 700 vs 1200 could / can be faster or slower depending on what your driving conditions are.
Bello's car is not going to carve Canyons and narrow twisty mountain or forest roads with 1200, but a guy with 500 is not going to achieve a 1mile flat out assault. Don't worry about others worry about your needs and balance the car around you.
