There are 2 main types of fuel heads for these engines, early (Euro) and late (USA). The early model is black in color and made of steel while the late model is aluminum. Either one will work but the aluminum model had a frequency valve incorporated into the operation which must be eleminated if used on an early engine.
I'm guessing that the one on your engine is aluminum as the early black unit would have been stock. I'm also going to guess that your engine is modified and this aluminum fuel head has had the frequency valve/Lambda system deleted and then adjusted for more flow. If this is so take a look on the side of the aluminum body towards the base and see if the numbers "007" are stamped into the housing.
