Euro engines were all rated at 300HP. USA '78/9 were 265HP and USA '86-9 were up to 282HP.
The Euro CIS is capable of flowing more fuel than the US system therefore desirable for moderately modified engines (up to 375WHP).
If your engine runs well and you don't plan to modify it there is no benifit to Euro CIS.
