Years ago, I replaced dilivar with dilivar because I always felt, they lasted 20 years, you got your moneys worth, just put them in again and go another 20.
Then computers came out and places like Rennlist and PP, there was other people to talk to. Then I went to steel about 10 years ago and havent had a broken stud on any engine I built in that time.
The biggest lesson learned was you cant retorque on dilivar, learned that in the late 80s when I got back on an engine and had half the studs laying on the floor after I torqued them and that was SC engines.
