It's not a huge job.

Start by removing the headlight, indicators and horn grills, and wiring (also ariel/fuel filler where necessary) - there is a hidden bolt behind the horn grill and another up by the windscreen scuttle panel you access through the open door. Undo the remainder of the bolts inside the trunk and down the fender support panel in the rear of the wheel tub. There is a bead of dum-dum between the fender and the tub which will reluctantly release with a pry bar. Carefully pull the fender away...
