It's possible a couple t-bolt clamps would hold the hose on better than skinny worm drive hose clamps.

If the red silicone hose they give you is not sturdy enough go to a hose supply place and they may have some thicker surdier industrial grade multiply silicone hose or if you need hose thats stiffer, stronger, and less likely to expand under boost then rubber marine exhaust hose without steel coil wire reinforcment for inboard engines is sturdy stuff.
