I've been running an Echlin ignition coil (purchased at Napa) in my 87 930 since my Bosch failed. The Echlin coil is made in Germany by a reputable company. This is a good low-cost alternative to the Bosch German coil in my opinion.

PVL #101-400 (made in Germany) ignition coil (Napa part # ECH-IC74).

NOTE: This may not be the same part # needed for your application.
Thank you,

'87 930, 3.3 liter, K27 hybrid, Kokeln IC, Andial, B&B, Borla, 17" Supercups.
