Well that's a cool diaphram damper listed for 1988, but it has nothing to do with fuel enrichment on boost. The only thing stock that does that is your WUR. I'm just guessing, but that damper must have some function to dampen fuel pressure surging between the top and lower chambers of the fuel distributor. There are folks out there that know K jetronic fuel heads/distributors like the back of their hands. Perhaps they'll chime in here.
