There is supposed to be a bracket there and it's attached to the crossmember with two rubber buffered 6mm stud mounts with 6 mm nuts and wavy washers and a hose clamp around the pump tightend only snug enough to hold it there.
I think you could find and install a used one from almost any fuel injected 911 from '74 to '89 and maybe other years too. They all had a front pump.

You can't see all of the pump mount in this pic from when I restored my gas tank recently but you can get an idea. Thats a new czech republic bosch motorsport 044 fuel pump that flows more than a stock 930 fuel pump and cost less because they make a lot of them.
