Hi Gavin,

As part of my EFI conversion on a 964T, I'm getting some machining work done in the next few weeks - mine hasn't, unusually, suffered from broken head studs (Dilavar all-round on the Turbo's) so I shouldn't need any re-facing work.

I'm planning on getting the crankcases modded for windage ("boat-tailing"), the rod small-ends will need honing with the new bearings in place, and I'm likely to get the intakes ported from 32mm to 36 or 38mm....plus the usual valve guide replacements.

I've been doing a lot of research this last week or two (I'm in the UK as well) about who to use, on top of stuff I found out when I was in the market to buy the car this time last year.

Edited to say, I'm tearing down and rebuilding myself.
