It's what I do for a living. I know how to decode the serial number. The 930/34 was used on the turbos during the 911sc years.

There's no "12" between the type number (930/34) and the start of the serial number so it doesn't have an LSD.

All the serial numbers start with 77. The 3rd number is the year. The "0" indicates 1980. The rest of the number is just a sequential production number. You've got the 87th 930 gearbox from 1980.
