Fred,

Great minds must frequent the same gutters !!!!!

For years I have read, called, looked at pics. and hunted for an original Fuel
distributor for a 934 or any information I could find on it.

It ends up that very few actually existed and basically non are left except in
car collections. Everyone with a 934 converted to the fuel injection and flat fan
set ups.

The original 934 CIS was a variant from a Mercedes with a modified fuel head
and air meter. There is nothing on the modifying of the fuel head and they
re machined the interior contour of the air meters to change the amount of air
moving through the unit as well as the interior shape to change fuel delivery.

Steve Weiner will do the air meter mod to flow more midrange fuel if you call
him he did mine a couple years ago.

I have some info on the air metering contour I will send you if you get me
an E-mail address. It explains how the shape influences the fuel delivery. It will
give you something to wrap your mind around.
