thanks all for the good suggestions!

I jiggled the wire at the oil presssure sender to ensure a proper connection,
(the Silver part with the wire attached). started up again afterwards and it seemed fine at 1 bar at idle 1000 RPM.
This morning, starting the car up COLD, it was at around 3.5 car Druck Pressure.
Looks ok now... maybe it *was* loose connection?

Why does Druck Pressure fluctuate so much from cold to warm? Is it party due to the oil viscosity? Or, is the intention to make the pump work harder when car is cold?
Mind you, when car is warming up, RPM is slightly higher too (another factor, but not quite at 3000 rpm though).


BTW: is the actual oil pressure sensor the one below the sender? I read somewhere
that it's hidden behind the injectors. Forgive me, I am a newbie and haven't done much mechanical work...
