Lets do a rough calc. Say an 18" puddle would be about 2 cup fulls, ie if you spread 2 cups of oil on the floor, they would occupy about an 18" circle. Maybe bigger. Don't know how long it has been sitting there, but say 6 mths (180 days, and about 4-500 mls oil). That equates to about2-3 mls /day which is about half a teaspoon of oil that would be lost on the trip, which is less than the engine will burn. This assumes the leak does not open up - but regular visual check should cover that, carry a litre of oil with you as precaution, you have the luxury of an oil level gauge in the car - compared to the usual idiot light/oil pressure loss.
I would check nothing obviously dribbling out on warm engine, and check en route, and drive it.
Worst scenario is something like a mouse eating an oil hose, or hose cracked somewhere. It should show up when hot oil goes thru the hose.
