The old Saab 900 turbo had CIS injection. If you could still find one in a you pull it salvage yard for 20 bucks it might be worth buying it to see if it could work after being made adjustable.
..it's just a lame random thought but at least those cars had a hood that kept it dry when it rained or during car washes so it would probably be in good shape.
