I assume you checked your serial number and that the car is a factory 930?

Two things stand out for me;
- You already have a 79 Turbo.. that being the case
- and you are planning on a full bare metal full restoration anyway, then yes I would take the car back to stock.

Primarily because they're are very few 75 Turbos around.. the car is probably a European car as they did not import the early Turbos until 76 and they were known as "Turbo Carrera" in the us.

Most did not have a sunroof.. and I'm not surprised to here that one from a SWB was grafted on.. it amazing what some of these cars have gone through over the years. We had a very nice Lapis Blue widebody at one time.. non turbo, built on a converted long hood chassis. We drove it a lot and it sure was fast.. for whatever reason we were going over the car and re-checked the vin only to find it was a 73RS!! This was at a time when they were just beginning to crack the $100k mark.. needles to say it was sold, and I understand that it was shipped to the factory for a full resto.. I have no idea where it is now.

Anyway back to your find...

- that car should also have a single mirror on it,
- and all 75, 76, & 77 Turbos had the small brakes you describe as 1977911s brakes
- if it was Copper Brown met, it probably had either Cork leather or a combo of that and maybe plaid inserts
