It's not the HP that is spinning your tires, it's the torque.
The GT30 is smaller than a K27-7200 so spools quicker making more torque at lower RPM. A 3.3L (7.0:1 C/R) engine with the same mods you have will make 300WHP at stock boost level. Subtract 10% displacement loss and even money for the 1/2 point compression and 0.8bar and you have ~270WHP. My guess is that your putting down ~300ft/lb torque at the wheels. You should be able to run 1.0bar safely long term if detonation is eliminated.
I ran 315ft/lb torque through my 915 for about 8 years and could spin the 345's in 2nd. Watch the drag starts and you'll be OK.
