Hi Doug,

The GT3582R with the standard T3 inlet GT turbine housing will get you to 15psi boost by 3000-3100rpm and 500-520rwhp comfortably on pump gas from your 3.5L. Two recent GT35R 3.3L engines with port work, SC cams, and flat 930 manifolds.
- 502hp/493tq at the wheels
- 500hp/488tq at the wheels
Both on West Coast 91-octane pump gas.

We've done as much as 540rwhp on pump gas from mild 1994 3.6T EFI engines (SC cams), or built 3.3L EFI engines running the flat manifold and bigger cams (964 or TK-EFI).

Example of recent 540rwhp -- see Kelly's 930 EFI conversion thread: Taking the EFI Plunge
3.3L, ported heads, flat manifold, but 964 cams. His turbo is Turbonetic's version of the GT35R in a marginally smaller A/R turbine housing (0.77).

sjf911 -- glad you like it!

GTX wheel or not to GTX wheel... the $600 question (approx. cost difference). On a 3.5L with SC cams and a Carrera manifold, I think you could run it. Make sure you don't get boost creep.

If chopping the headers to twin scroll it, we'd configure it with a T04 flange.
