I would dispute this statement. Amsoil is at the bottom of any list I'd make up (with a history of failing API certification), and Redline failures I've seen firsthand .. more suited to transmissions, not transaxles with R&Ps. Delvak is OK .. but certainly not the best of all available synthetics.

Benny .. Swepco has a superior EP additive package than RP. Ask the 901 Shop about their experiences with RP.

In someone's non-scientific comparison of a few oils recently presented to a number of us, The transmission with Amsoil ran the hottest, with RP not much cooler.

You cannot judge an oil solely by how smoothly it shifts ..
