225 = heavier feeling steering, especially as the tread wears down. harder parallel parking.. more likely to follow ruts in the road and be impacted by the crown of the road, Less understeer.

205 = small.. easy to turn/steer. Will understeer more than 225s.


Early cars ran 205/225. Later cars ran 205/245, i think because they went from 8" rears to 9" rears sometime around 1984?

Keeping 205s in front helped reduce lawsuits
