I have a 1979 L82 Vette. I bought it new as a 2nd Lt. back in 1979, 24 years ago. The airflow research aluminum heads are at a friends getting ported and polished. When he is done, I'll bolt the heads on. My goal is to have it running this summer to help celebrate Corvette's 50th aniversary. My 914 only has a fresh 2.0 that Wayne Dempsey and I built a couple of summers ago. I have 914-6 engine tin, oil tank, and motor mount. So if I ever find a nice 3.0, and 914-6 heat exchangers, I'll do a conversion. If I put a V8 in it, I have some Porsche purist friends, that already give me hard time about my Vette, that would kick my @ss, and dump me as a friend. I also want to put Boxter S wheels on my 914.
