Those pumps may be drawing more current through the marginally adequate red relays. You may have to rewire the pump circuits with heavier gauge wire and higher current handling relays if you go to the 044's.

As a contact in the relay crystallizes over time, the contacts experience a voltage drop over the contacts resulting in less than adequate current to the pumps. As the contacts heat up, the problem becomes even more dramatic. As a short term experiment, put a pair of blacks in the pump relay sockets and check if the situation changes.
