Adapting the low profile 930 pressure plate is more trouble that it is worth.
What is your power & torque target?
Since Sachs discontinued their 1987-89 G50 aluminum Sport pressure plate, the KEP is the simplest lightweight conversion out there right now. Standard 930 spring hub disc, G50 bearing & guide tube.
You can use a G50 flywheel, 1989 930 or 1987-89 Carrera. If you plan on running an aftermarket EFI system and triggering off the flywheel, machining timing teeth onto a 1989 930 flywheel is easy, we do it all the time.
