Hi Kevin

I believe it helped to drop the rear bumper and valance, otherwise my jackstands would have been 6" higher. Bumper and rear valance was very easy to remove. Tranny was dropped with the engine attached. One thing I would recommend, is to have 2 furniture carts. One under the tranny and one under the engine. It will make moving the engine around much easier. My garage floor was not the smoothiest.
