RUF CTR Yellow Bird, Louvers behind intercoolers?

Posted on the general forum too, as they get a lot more visits.

Would like to build a Ruf CTR "YB" like intercooler setup, but worried about airflow.

Ruf assured me there is enough airflow, but the CTRs had an underside "lip"that deflected air up into the engine & cuts in the bumper for airflow.

No one has a pic of this "lip" or spoiler. Can use ducting?

My idea for air, fans on 1 side of the intercoolers & louvers, grating, even just cuts or holes on the the metal firewall behind the intercooler.

Also can cut a panel out, louver it & weld it back in place. Or louver the metal by hand by cutting & bending the metal behind the intercooler in the wheelwell

Would cutting a large hole & replacing it with a glued & riveted sheet of thin aluminum lower body strength?

Would airflow greatly increase?
