The 964 Turbo for the same money is a better car overall. It might not be a funner car! If you are talking '92 or'93, 315hp stock. Performance is probably about the same. I think the added HP compensates for the added weight. More civil to drive as a car...ie..air conditioning that works and all of those things. The 5 speed tranny would be nice.

If you can get a '94 964 turbo, that is as good as it gets. I think that car is actually refered to as a 965 so that may not be what you are describing. If all of these are at a dealer, time to go test driving.

As speednme1 writes, The best part is the hunt....I would argue that the best part is owning it, but it is a fun debate. The beauty of a 930 as opposed to other toys in life is that the best part of owning it is not the day you bought it and the day you sold it!!

Remember, a 964 Turbo/965 Turbo, while a great car, mybe even a beter car, is NOT a 930! Food for thought.
