I've never had the pleasure of driving a 964 or 964 turbo so I can't offer any opinions on this one. All I can say is take your time and enjoy the search and test drives. All the Porsche's I've driven are fun to drive and just different. Some very different.

A pristine red with black interior totally origonal '59 speedster I drove straight through from somewhere around Charlotte N.C. down to West Palm Beach, Florida one evening into night around '88 or '89 was probably the most special of all.

I remember the passenger side windsheild wiper flew off around Jacksonville, Fl when a little rain sprinkle came up.. luckily it only rained for a couple minutes. and the oil cooler inside the fan housing made a sweet whirring whistle like sound somewhere around 3500 rpms as air was blowing through it.
That car was really sweet.
I had to bend forward and downward a little to see out the driver side window... Such a cool car.
