I think with 8s instead of 9s, they'd rub a little more often on my 911 - they already occasionally touch the hard oil lines rear right on my 3.6 conversion, although that's being remedied as we speak so the 17s will fit later. You probably have LOADS of room back there with a 930!

I'd love to fit 10s on the rear but with a narrow body, 9.5 is it for mine, and with the demise of the 265/45-16 (unless you want to go with the Kuhmo DOT track tires - I don't), it will be 275/40-17 on 9.5x17 and hope they keep making that size for a few more years than they did the 265/45-16! I have one new pair of XS left... there are a few sets to be found if you really hunt, but they are getting very scarce, no regular supplier has them. The 225/50-16 are still widely available for the fronts, at least...

Such great tires too. What gifts the gods giveth, they also apparently taketh away!
