And if running an O2 sensor.
It's not the outside (bulb tip) of the sensor that builds up and ceases working, it's the sensing device inside.
The Dynapack dyno uses a Motec PLM to monitor Lambda, and we see brand new sensors die within a day's dyno session on old V8s running leaded racing fuel.
Low lead will contaminate the O2 sensor and skew the readings, just not as quickly as leaded fuel.
