My 2c:

Ruf intended 8+10x17s to make for a good balance with a 930. When they started selling these wheels the USA buyers wanted 9s up front. Since they had 9s for SC/Carrera rears, sure thing. If you like the "look" a 9" front is nice on the eyes [but really need 11 or 12s on the rear!]. The 8" is intended to be used with the factory 930 spacer up front which moves the wheel out where it should be.

An 8" front drives better. A 9" front looks better.

Choices!

BTW, this car would look better with the front dropped about 1". I question if the increased harshness, kick back, and bottoming is worth it. Raising the spindles helps. At 24" it works better at speed and looks better, but the rest borders on misery.
