commercial stuff like armour all and back to black have solvents in them and they make it look better at first but are actually bad for rubber and shorten the life of it.
i read that somewhere on the internet so i donno.. maybe it's true.
that was what i was worried about, stuff like that actually being bad for it.

you know i have thought about vasline. what about skin so soft, or neets feet oil.
i think it was skin so soft that i used to lube the rubber seal that goes around the windshield rfame for the top on my 914 so that it would slide on. slide the new rubber back in the channel that is.
i have been soaking my dash in neets feet oil. i need to do the rear one too.

i may pull the rubber tail off along with the front rubber part in front of the hood. i have seen both of these start to rust inside and get lumpy on other cars. maybe i can catch it before it starts/gets bad. you think a little OSPHO around the screw studs would hurt to stop any rust?
