Check the ET on the wheels (might be different side to side?). ET must be really low for that narrow tire to rub?

You can run even narrower tire if you dont swap rims. Front has no spacer IIRC on 88 models so you cant make it fit better. I run 255 front and dont rub on my 79 so its not the tire width but the ET of the wheel. Do the fenders look symmetrical or can the rubbing fender be pulled a bit more out?
