the 89 does run, but needs some minor tuning ( i.e. plugs, fuel filter and maybe o2 sensor). But! and this is a total bonus, you can transplant this 2.7L into a turbo and you will be able to push 250hp out with stock boost. and it would be an inexpensive way to upgrade your 2.5L turbo.
