Next it was time for the intake holes these have to to be stepped at two different diameters. 42mm on the inside to match the intake ports. and 48mm on the outside for the OD of the tubing i'm using. Well the two forestner bits i had for that would have worked ok in the drill press at a slow enough speed but no way i could get it by hand.
So i drilled them as big as possible using a step drill and will have to get them opened up the rest of the way on a lathe. Hopefully i can bribe the machinist at work with beer lol.
