Sorry to hear such crappy news. First off start gathering information on the value of your car..i.e. prices of cars that have sold within the past 6 months. Due to possible structural damage the car might be written off as a total loss. The other drivers insurance will most likely try to use book value as payment...Do not accept this(if it is really low). Have proof of what your car is worth and the work you have performed. Contact the other driver's insurance ASAP. If they write it off you will most likely have the option of buying it back. At that point you will need to decide what your best option is. Keep it and rebuild it..or let it go...at least your still safe and healthy..which is the most important part.
