Yancy, I have the same xi-427 tires on my car, also purchased by the PO. I've found them to be remarkably un-remarkable tires. I'll be installing a set of the Michelin AS3 next spring. I'm going with those rather than the PS2's because I drive year-around and the PS2's (being a Summer tire) don't grip well at cooler temps, say 40F or below. That won't work for me, as I drive a fair amount at or below that temp. The AS3 (being all-season) should be fine for those temps, and the reviews I've seen so far all indicate that it really doesn't give up much compared to most full on Summer tires.
