I'm a fan of Miller but not a fan of the diversion series. Check out the HTP 221 ac/dc. Great machine for the price! Go for a higher end inverter machine just for the space savings alone. Plus it's nice to be able to adjust the arc characteristics for what you are welding. Something lacking on the diversion series. The dynasty sd you are using is a great machine. I believe it lacks the sequencer and pulse function that the dx model offers.

You can download the Miller welds app to your phone. It has a tig calculator that helps with choosing the right tungsten, cup size and amperage.

I've been using 2% Lanthanated on steel and aluminum.
