I think he had the rollcage fab'd, forget as I was awash in sensory overload whilst gawking at all the little details.

The rear trailing arms have been elongated 2.5" rearward, with the flares reshaped into the existing roofline / tail area. You can see it in the rocker here, it's a bit eerie as the rear 3/4 window and tail light placement remain. The massive steel-flare width has the added length bleed / melt into the OE shape / concept, almost not noticeable:

the twin K24s are gonna hang on that upper lateral bar w/ the dogears, with their intakes feeding thru the rear quarter windows

The silver bar'd rear box frame section you see is supercool... it's a lifting jig. Remove rear bumper, insert jig, bolt into chassis, lift from center loop w/ a hook from a beam hoist above. Brilliant!

Very creative build... wheelbase now of a 914 and mid engine dynamics in a tt'd longhood 930 - almost kindasorta what the factory coldashoulda made?

the rear tail is removable, and doing so then morphs into a ducktail - really trick
