Remember what the caps / crests cost at all?

The trim rings do seem to gobble up 'some' of the H1 perimeter, but not as offensive as I'd thought they'd be. Anyone got a set laying around?

DAYUM your car is CLEAN

Funny, we've both got GR '87s w/ Powerhaus / Garretson / exhaust / Fikse and nearly the same miles (I'm ~59-60k). Yours is entirely morer shinier tho 8-). Mine's waaay over due for some buffin lovin. Spring project. When it's cleaned up and not covered in brakedust and unburnt fuel spray it comes close to looking like that!
Hey Paul,

I meant to respond to your post. I swapped my original sugar scoops out for the H1 housings as well. I have the versions that have the black ring. Like you, I didn't really care for them. I ended up buying the primered trim rings from Pelican. I want to say they were $100 for the pair? Not horrible. They literally snap on over the chrome/black ring and a small screw holds them on from the bottom. Pressure keeps them in place. They are extremely thin honestly. You can't really tell they're on.

When I mounted mine the first time, I snapped a picture of one on and one off so you can see the difference in the same pic. I have it at home and I can post it here for you tonight when I get home so you can see.

I think you'd like them a lot more than the chrome rings.

Chris.
