I've got a 94 325i, automatic, with 102k on the clock. Recently I started hearing a grinding type noise and feel vibration from under the car when turning at low speeds or from a stop. More specifically it sounds like I'm driving over a rumble strip on the highway. The sound appears to be coming from around the transmission area. I checked fluid levels in the trans. and all seems well, no burnt smell or dark color.

The car runs and drives fine otherwise. Any ideas?
