It's a shame. As Captain Obvious, so much of the perceived value resides with extremely low mileage. The car (and it's a beauty) now has it's own vicious cycle, in which it will continue to change hands and each new owner will worry that every additional mile could reduce it's value. "Oh the humanity, we booked another 100 yards of mileage pushing our investment off of the car transporter...call the accountants...call Hagerty....how much depreciation did we incur..."

Who knows, maybe someone will pony up the coin and rack up some miles without concern for what the future may hold. It won't melt...
