Hey Rob, if you are sure you have spark (and properly timed spark - as in, all of the plug wires are in the proper spots and the distributor has not been installed 180 degrees out and so forth) then you are either far too rich, or more likely, far too lean. For starters, you need to make sure that both of your fuel pumps are running when the key is on and the fuel metering plate is depressed (like Jim mentioned above). Basically, it sounds like you are not getting sufficient fuel pressure to the injectors.

And what Jim meant about the high quality fuel components is that they are all designed to fit, leak proof, without any sealing compound being used (some use male to female flared fittings and some use banjo bolts with sealing rings).

Oh, and regarding your comment about deleting components - one that I have never heard of anyone deleting is the cold start injector - pretty hard to cold start a K-Jet engine without it.
