You can run a 265/35/18 but two things you need to keep in mind:

1) Ride height - you will need to make sure your front fenders are rolled as a low ride height and taller tire on the 265/35 aspect ratio is tall.

2) Offset - you will be okay on the offset but you will DEFINITELY have turn-in issues with a 265 tire. You won't be able to get full lock to lock steering with a tire like that.

Personally speaking - 265 tire is too wide of a tire for an 8.5" wheel. I run 9" fronts on both sets of my wheels; one set runs a 255/35 and the other runs a 245/35 tire. 8.5" with a 245 tire will stand almost straight up; 255 will look wide and a 265 will look buldged on the lip. You really need a 9.5" wheel to run a 265 tire.

For your wheel size I would recommend you consider a 245/35 and a 315/30 if you're on a 8.5" and 11" wheel by Fikse.

I can show you pictures if you want as I run Profil 5S's with 18x9 and 18x11's, 245/35 and 315/30.
